Easter is one of the brighest and nicest holidays of the Armenian Apostoic Church.Easer is a movable feast.All believers before Easter observe a 40 day feast,so that to purfiy their body and spirit just like Christ.On Saturday evening,with the end of the sacred liturgy all believers greet each other and on Sunday night begin the celebration of Easer.Armenians are preparing for Easter long before the celebration day.Young girls and women pay great attention to the Armenian Easter table where every dish has its own symbol and significance.So,they cook rice with raisins where rice is the symbol of the humanity and raisins represents all Christians.They put on the table deliious Armenian fish Ishkhan,red wine,red painted ggs and decorate the btable with branches of trees an flowers.
